Cecile, the 63rd edition of the Monte-Carlo Television Festival will take place June 14-18 this year. Earlier announced celebrities who will attend include Morgan Freeman and other actors from the cast of The Gray House which will have its world premiere at the Festival; many of the actors of Dick Wolf's hit productions like FBI, Chicago Med; stars from the cast of ratings juggernaut NCIS; etc. Who are some of the other celebrities who will walk the red carpet this year?We are delighted to host such a fabulous line-up of talent in Monaco later this month.
Simone Ashley of
Bridgerton fame will be with us at the opening ceremony. On this occasion she will receive The International Golden Nymph for Most Promising Talent,which recognises the brilliant and exceptional rising talent of an actor who has elevated the bar of excellence to international acclaim. During the event
Lee Jung-jae will join us to support the launch of Lucasfilm’s
Star Wars: The Acolyte on Disney+. We are thrilled that members of the cast of the iconic drama
Little House on the Prairie will be celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the series with us. We will welcome Karen Grassle (Caroline Ingalls), Melissa Gilbert (Laura Ingalls), Melissa Sue Anderson (Mary Ingalls), Alison Arngrim (Nellie Oleson), Matthew Labyorteaux (Albert Ingalls), Wendi Lou Lee (Grace Ingalls) and Leslie Landon, the real-life daughter of Michael Landon, who took the role of schoolteacher Etta Plum in the final season. Michael Weatherly of
NCIS, David Boreanaz of
SEAL Team will also join us as well as members of the cast for the World Premiere Screening of
The Gray House including multiple award-winning Mary-Louise Parker (Weeds, The West Wing), Daisy Head (Harlots), Amethyst Davis (Kindred) and Ben Vereen (Roots), along with executive producer Morgan Freeman.
The Festival is known for holding many international premieres during its run. What are this year's new TV productions and films that will make their debut?Each program nominated in the Fiction Category and the winner of the Prince Rainier III Special Prize will be shown at public screenings at the Grimaldi Forum.
This year's Fiction category includes four world premieres:

Alone At Sea (High Sea Production, France),
Night Therapy (Yes TV, Israel) and the film
Der Heimweg (Ziegler Films, Germany).
The Festival will also screen the international premiere of
The Law of the Sea (Co-Production between RTVE and The Regional Public Channel À Punt, Spain) and
The Gathering (World Productions, United Kingdom).
Elsbeth (CBS Studio, King Size Productions and distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution, USA),
Little Did I Know (Bigster, Sweden) and
Helgoland 513 (UFA Fiction GmbH, Germany) will be screened for the first time in France.
Out-of-competition screenings are also planned for

NCIS, which is celebrating its 1000th episode, will see cast members cross the Atlantic take part in a
Behind The Scenes event on Saturday June 15.

Olivier Marchal has had a stellar career in all parts of the television and film business and he richly deserves the recognition that the
Honorary Golden Nymph represents. This award is our Festival’s highest accolade bestowed upon a renowned professional for their extraordinary contribution to the entertainment industry. Olivier will receive his award at the close of our Festival on 18 June.
